It all Started with Learning Graphic Design.

After college, I started to seek out opportunities to be creative in my career. Since childhood, I spent my time drawing characters and playing with different artistic mediums. Logos became a fun, new and creative challenge!

In 2018, a friend of mine asked me to create a logo for Hua Nui Tree Farm in Hilo, Hawaii.

The logo I created was meant to reflect the owner’s “roots” as a native Hawaiian. While keeping the concept simple and clean, I wanted the fruit of the tree to be colorful, yet ambiguous. This would create a clean image while reflecting the variety of products produced on the farm. The company is also owned by a LGBQT couple and the colorful fruit is also mean to reflect the pride flag in a creative way!

Intimate Events Colorado,

was a company that came out of the pandemic. “Covid Weddings” were the talk of the wedding planning industry throughout 2020 and 2021. Karla, the founder of Intimate Events Colorado, was quick to create a business that would help plan/ execute small elopements.

Because of personal life events, the business did not take off. However, the concept was brilliant for the time. While the wedding ceremonies were quiet and small, the idea was to send out boxes full of party favors, a zoom link and champagne for those who could not attend.

It was a pleasure working on such a fun and unique project, even if it did not come to fruition.

Bevara,

introduced me to UX Design. The woman who started the company, Sarah Brandum, wanted to create a platform for those who enjoy the outdoors. Here adventurers can find trails, sign up for volunteer opportunities, search for events, and find information about fire-bans or closed trails.

The final design!

After helping her with a fresh logo. We explored her app design and how she planned to test it.

Life Coach Baker,

was another project from the early years.

In 2018, my friend Nicole Baker had just kicked off her her new business as a life coach for creative artists. She was doing a lot of networking and needed business cards that reflected her mission/ personality.

In 2020, she transition her focus. Now she has a thriving business coaching perfectionists across all industries.

BOCO Cidery LLC,

This Design did not become the official logo for BoCo Cider, but it’s one that I am very proud of.

When I first started learning about vectors and graphics the owner of the cider, Michael Belochi, wanted to give me a shot at creating a logo. In the end, he went with another idea but I loved the way this turned out, especially for being so new at creating logos.
